Iain Lee’s sister hints there was ‘behind-the-scenes bullying’ on I’m A Celeb and says her brother will eventually tell the FULL story
Jo Angell - who visited Iain during his stint in the jungle - revealed that she saw never-screened footage and alluded to the idea that there were worse scenes that never made it to the final cut of the ITV favourite
IAIN Lee's sister has come to his defence over allegations that he was bullied during his time on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of here.
Jo Angell, who visited her brother during his stint in the jungle, has spoken out on Twitter after her brother appeared to backtrack his opinion that he WASN'T bullied.
After Rebekah Vardy praised the radio DJ for “clearing up” the “bullying” claims, Ian quoted the tweet and said: "I hadn't seen the comments made behind my back or the ones made by some camp mates when they left.
"I still suggest the word bullying is too strong. But…"
Following the comments, Jo elaborated on what she'd personally seen behind-the-scenes, and said to a fan: "Trust me, it wasn't easy at times.
"There was a lot going on behind the scenes and as an anxious person it pushed me to my limits!"
She later added: "Some of us even got to see what went on (and what was said) behind the scenes. It wasn't pretty."
Finishing her comments, Jo finished her messages as she added: "I hope that one day in the not-too-distant future Iain and I can tell you the whole story. It's guaranteed to blow your mind."
Fans of the show repeatedly accused close pals Amir Khan, Dennis Wise and Rebekah Vardy of bullying the star.
On spin-off show Coming Out, when Iain was revealed as the first to leave during the final, they shook hands which left fans seething.
Rebekah, who vehemently denied their "bullying accusations" lashed out and told them: “You have no idea what we were shaking hands over.
