Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez secretly dating personal trainer behind Gemma Atkinson’s back
STRICTLY dancer Gorka Marquez is secretly dating a personal trainer behind the back of his lover Gemma Atkinson.
Gorka, 27, struck up a relationship with Emmerdale actress Gemma, 33, weeks after they entered rehearsals for the BBC dance show.
But the Spaniard has also been romancing Georgie Harris, 23, in recent weeks with sources saying the pair had a fling earlier this year and were seen cosying up to one another last Sunday.
As Gemma was watching the new Jumanji film at the cinema, Gorka and Georgie enjoyed a sushi dinner before they went to see the same movie in Fulham, West London.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Gorka goes to the gym a lot, but he’s been heading to Georgie’s gym more and more since they started hooking up and they spend a lot of time together.
“He never seems to talk about Gemma though, and just flirts so obviously with Georgie. They even film each other’s workouts to post on social media with gushing messages.
“I’m sure Gemma won’t be happy when she finds out what’s being going on behind her back.
“And it’ll be an extra twist of the knife for her to learn that he’s romanced Georgie during sessions at the gym, just as he did with her.”
Gorka and Gemma became the talk of this year’s Strictly when it emerged they were having a fling — the first time a contestant has hooked up with a rival’s dance partner.
At the time show insiders claimed their romance had sparked tensions backstage with Gorka’s partner Alexandra Burke fearing it would get in the way of their success.
The atmosphere between the two celebrity dancers was said to be “extremely frosty”.
Gorka and Gemma were said to have grown close during trips to the gym and also regularly posted workout selfies online together.
But The Sun on Sunday revealed last week that tensions were running high between Gemma and Gorka after she caught him flirting with another dancer.
They had a very public spat at the Strictly after-party in Blackpool last month, but later went on to make up and spend the evening together.
But our revelations of his secret romance with Georgie will test their relationship once again.
The source added: “Gorka behaves very much like he is a single man when he is with Georgie.
"It’s as if Gemma doesn’t exist. He has clearly got away with flirting before, but it’s unlikely he’ll get away with this.”
Georgie, from Parsons Green, West London, has posted several of her flirty sessions with Gorka online.
In one Instagram post of the dancer exercising, Gemma said: “Managed to rope someone else in too.”
Gorka said in another: “Thanks for the awesome class, next time we train together.”
In a separate post Georgie said: “Can’t wait to kill you again next time,” before going on to add a series of emojis.
She also captioned a Snapchat picture of them together at the gym: “Aren’t we cute.”
The pair, who both work out at gyms in Fulham, met earlier this year and began a passionate fling.
But they decided to ease off around September as Gorka’s work commitments started to build up.
They have only started seeing each other again in recent weeks, enjoying their dinner and cinema date last week after a gym session.
It is believed they later went back to his flat.
The source added: “They have got a lot in common including a shared love of the gym. There’s a lot of chemistry between them.
“They are constantly flirting in full view of everyone there and they are obviously attracting a lot of attention when they’re together.
“Their last date together was last Sunday and it has been commented on how open they are in spite of his romance with Gemma.”

Gorka and Gemma ate both taking part in tonight’s Strictly final with their partners Alexandra and Aljaz, also taking on Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice.
When asked by The Sun on Sunday about her dates with Gorka, Georgie said: “Am I allowed to say no comment?”
