Jack Maynard trying to woo Georgia Toffolo on WhatsApp as he hopes to reignite jungle romance rumours

I'M A Celebrity star Jack Maynard is trying to woo Georgia Toffolo on WhatsApp in the hope of reigniting their jungle romance rumours.

The pair grew close during Jack's short stint on the show before leaving after racist and homophobic tweets he had sent as a 16-year-old resurfaced.

Speaking to Trending Live's AJ Odudu and Jim Hill, the 23-year-old said of the I'm a Celeb winner: "Me and Toff get on great.

"We're a similar age and have a lot in common. We're from the same area and stuff like that.

"Yeah, we had a very good relationship in the jungle and that's it. Good Friends, good friends."

While Jack protested they were just pals, he did admit to messaging Toff, 23, on a daily basis now she is out of the jungle.

Asked if they had been in touch, he said: "Yeah, of course, I spoke to her earlier this morning.

"They're all flying back now. So I've been speaking to them in a lovely WhatsApp group with all of us.

"I've been speaking to all of them separately as well. Everyone's in it even Stanley.

"Amir just has no idea who anyone is, Everything you say is just 'Who's this? Who said that?'"

Viewers of the hit ITV show had hoped Jack and Toff would get together after early signs of flirting, because then they would have a rather rude couple name.

After they were paired together for their first challenge, the plank on the series opener, viewers took to Twitter and quickly coined a new hashtag for them.

One wrote: "Wait have Toff and Jack Maynard just been paired together so the UK can guffaw at #JackToff? I do hope so!"

Another added: "#jacktoff on top of an Australian skyscraper #ImACeleb #imacelebinnuendo" while a third tweeted: "JackToff. Geddit? Brilliant."

Indeed fans were in hysterics at the joke, with another writing: "Can't take jack and toff seriously when you say their names together #jacktoff #jackedoff."
