Sam Fox reveals she’s in a ‘really good place’ with new girlfriend two years after losing partner to cancer
FORMER glamour model Sam Fox has revealed she's back in "a really good place" with a new girlfriend two years on from the tragic death of her partner of 16 years back in 2015.
The Page Three favourite chatted about a harrowing few years, which saw her long-term partner and manager Myra Stratton pass away from cancer.
Earlier this year, Sam, 51, exclusively told The Sun Online she was "very happy" with new love, Linda Birgitte Olsen, who is a Norwegian mum-of-two.
On today's GMB Sam further opened up on her current positive place after the release of her autobiography as host Piers Morgan quizzed: "What would you say is the happiest time in your life, is it now?
"Have you had happier times?"
The blonde, who has since launched a career in pop music, replied: "I'm at a really good place now I must admit.
"The last few years have been difficult with my partner dying and suffering from cancer.
"She told me before she died 'you must finish this book.'"
Sam, who released her autobiography Forever in America earlier this year, added: "I would say my happiest time was when it all began for me because it was my dream as a little girl to become a star.
"I went to stage school from the age of five, another stage school from the age of 10, and if Page Three hadn't happened I still would have gone into the business in some kind of a way."
Talking of her chunky tome, she surmised: "It's sad, it's happy, a lot of people take my experiences away with them and learn from them.
"It was very hard.
"I've been talking about doing it the last 10 years."
Sam, who is worth an estimated £15million, shocked co-host Susanna Reid as she revealed she thought things would have been "a lot easier" if she was a man in the music industry.
Meanwhile the Touch Me (I Want Your Body) singer referenced allegations deceased singer David Cassidy had sexually assaulted her in a toilet in 1985.
In her book, which she stressed was published in America before the singer's recent death, she alleges the former Partridge Family star followed her into a lavatory in London.
Today she said: "I didn't know he was sick. It's in the book because it was a part of my life."
She was reportedly asked to appear in the music video for Cassidy’s single, Romance, during which he had a visible erection during the shoot.
She previously told the musician “grabbed her breasts and put his hand under her skirt” in a Chelsea restaurant.
She said: “David seemed to be deliberately drawing out the photoshoot, which took an eternity, and he had an erection the entire time – something he did absolutely nothing to hide,” she told the paper.
“Whenever he pressed himself against me, I could clearly feel his d***”
