Prince Harry’s fiancée Meghan Markle forms secret friendship with Victoria Beckham after bonding over A-list beauty rituals
MEGHAN MARKLE has a new British BFF to hang out with while fiancé PRINCE HARRY nips out to the pub to watch the rugby.
I can reveal the US actress has grown close to VICTORIA BECKHAM after meeting up in secret since announcing her engagement to the Royal and moving to London.
Meghan and Victoria have bonded over hair and beauty tips after Posh gave the US actress a list of exclusive salons for her to visit.
And their love of pricey facials and glamorous blow-dries has become the foundation for a growing friendship.
A royal insider said: “Meghan has been really pleased with Victoria’s beauty recommendations and has her to thank for meeting new friends in London.
“They have grown close and regularly text after Victoria told Meghan to visit Sarah Chapman, who bills herself ‘London’s most sought-after facialist’. Meghan trusts and appreciates her advice. She is even thinking about using Victoria’s hairdresser over the Christmas period.”
A sought-after celebrity facial with Sarah, whose salon is in Chelsea, isn’t easy to arrange and it doesn’t come cheap.
A 90-minute treatment costs a mega £600 and there is a six-month waiting list.
But Meghan has already been snapped coming out of Posh’s favourite beauty haunt after Victoria said she was “obsessed” with its products.
Meghan could be next to sport Victoria’s famous bob haircut too after being convinced by the former Spice Girl to visit A-list salon Hershesons in Knightsbridge.
Only the best for the newest member of the Royal Family. Anything less just wouldn’t cut it.

HARRY STYLES failed to get a Grammy nod for his solo work but he hasn’t been completely shut out of awards season.
The singer could be tasting victory at the Golden Globes after debut movie Dunkirk, made by The Dark Knight and Inception director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN, became the favourite for Best Picture when nominations were announced yesterday.
Elsewhere, Hollywood sent a clear message to KEVIN SPACEY, shortlisting CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER for Best Supporting Actor for All The Money in The World. Christopher was brought in to reshoot scenes in the RIDLEY SCOTT movie after disgraced Kevin was axed following sexual misconduct allegations.
It will be a battle of the dames for Best Actress – Musical or Comedy as JUDI DENCH and HELEN MIRREN go head to head for Victoria & Abdul and The Leisure Seeker, respectively. Also in line to bag an award for Britain is GARY OLDMAN, who is Best Actor – Drama favourite for his Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour.
In the TV categories, The Crown has been nominated for Best Drama, while CLAIRE FOY is up for Best Actress in a Drama for her portrayal of The Queen.
But Big Little Lies dominated with six nods, including for NICOLE KIDMAN and REESE WITHERSPOON.
The Globes, which officially kick off awards season, take place on January 7 in LA. I’m so ready for it.

DAME JUDI DENCH celebrated her birthday in style . . . by splashing out on a caterpillar cake.
Despite being worth an estimated £26million, she marked turning 83 with the treat that set her back just £6.
Her daughter Finty shared this snap of the Skyfall star on Twitter shortly before Mum blew out the candles.
She wrote: “Happy birthday my beautiful, wonderful, inspirational Mama.”
A caterpillar cake would be enough to put a smile on my face on my birthday, too.
Tay and New Man meet Newman
TAYLOR SWIFT and JOE ALWYN looked like a pair of love-struck teenagers at the Jingle Bell Ball on Sunday night.
Joe had his arm around Taylor as they sang along to ED SHEERAN’s Thinking Out Loud, which followed her own performance at London’s O2 Arena.
The moment was shared on Instagram by rapper STEFFLON DON. And she wasn’t the only friend Taylor made at the concert.
She was also chatting to ex CALVIN HARRIS’s best pal, JOHN NEWMAN.
Bet that was a bit awkward.

THERE are loads of tunes out this week – and I bring you the best of the bunch.
My Bizarre Jukebox Spotify playlist is updated every Tuesday with 15 tracks from my favourite artists and the best new talent around.
Here are four from this week’s hotlist.
Out Of My Head: CHARLI XCX has recruited pop pals TOVE LO and ALMA for her latest electro-kissed anthem, the first track from her newly announced mixtape Pop2, which lands this Friday.
Never Be the Same: She’s riding high on single Havana but CAMILA CABELLO is already dishing out a new tune. It comes ahead of her solo album, out on January 12, and shows a different side to her.
You Make It Feel Like Christmas: GWEN STEFANI makes sure we’re in the festive spirit with this track from her album of the same name. It features boyfriend and The Voice co-star BLAKE SHELTON.
Too Good To Me: He missed out on a spot at X Factor Judges’ Houses but GREGOR COLEMAN proves LOUIS WALSH made the wrong decision to send him home with his feel-good, OLLY MURS-vibe debut single.
Simon Calls for (Rak)Superstars
RAK-SU shot to No2 with their first official single Dimelo and SIMON COWELL is now going all out to boost their debut album.
A week after the lads won The X Factor, his label Syco has already asked ED SHEERAN to team up with the group in a bid to turn them into global superstars.
Simon is hoping they can write some massive hits with Ed, and has also approached JULIA MICHAELS, who penned JUSTIN BIEBER’s Sorry.
A songwriting source said: “Ed and Julia are expert songwriters and Simon believes teaming them up with Rak-Su will have phenomenal results.
“They have the potential to be megastars so it is important for everyone involved that they work with the who’s who of chart- topping tunes.”
Their collaboration with NAUGHTY BOY and WYCLEF JEAN was standing strong at No2 in the mid-week chart update yesterday, just behind Ed who is still at No1 with Perfect.
Perrie? Corset Is
SHE has spent the last six months on a world tour – and now PERRIE EDWARDS is letting her hair down.
The LITTLE MIX star braved the chill in a plunging corset and black palazzo trousers for a night out with YouTubers LUCY and LYDIA CONNELL, above right, and her cousin Ellie Hemmings at Mr Fogg’s Tavern in London on Sunday.

A platinum edition of her group’s Glory Days album has topped an amazing 2017 for Perrie, JESY NELSON, LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK and JADE THIRLWALL.
The girls also won Best British Single at the Brits this year.
They’ll definitely pop the champagne on New Year’s Eve.
