COCKY Chris Hughes has offered himself up as a mentor to the contestants on the next series of Love Island.
He and girlfriend Olivia Attwood, 26, say they want to help the islanders as they had the “most traumatic experience”, the Sun’s Bizarre column can reveal.
Their relationship on the ITV2 show was tumultuous and they constantly argued, with Chris even breaking down in tears over it.
But the pair reckon they’d be able to support hopeless romantics in their quest for love.
Cocky Chris, 24, said: "I would be a fantastic mentor, if anyone was struggling emotionally I could help them through it.
"I would cry with them and help them through it."
He and his girlfriend have split in secret since coming out of the show - but they are now back together.
The pair were recently rocked by footage of Chris kissing a mystery woman in a club emerging.
Olivia reckons the islanders will need therapy due to the emotional rollercoaster of the villa.
She said: "I think me and Chris would be really good at it, because we had the most traumatic experience.
“It was a really rocky road for us to get to where we are.
“When it comes back we should be the villa therapists.
“Also if the girls wanted to go on like a night out to get the boys sweating then I could take them.
“We could be the mentors for the new people."
Olivia spoke about their split recently saying he told her he “didn’t kiss anyone”.
She said: “Obviously last week I was taking some time out from my relationship with Chris to work out what was going on in my head.
“Basically I wanted to sort of take a minute to assess what had actually gone on, because it’s really hard when these things happen.”

Olivia added: “He said he didn’t kiss anyone so… I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. This is his last shot.”
Chris’s pal Kem Cetinay recently split with fellow winner of the summer’s series Amber Davies.
Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt and Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen are the other couples who are still together.
