Former Strictly pro James Jordan brands Karen Clifton as ‘scary’ amid her marriage breakdown to Kevin
STRICTLY pro Karen Clifton has been branded “scary” by ex-colleague James Jordan.
James had a pop after Karen’s marriage to fellow pro Kevin hit trouble.
She started seeing accountant Stuart Wood but they have now split as the Cliftons, both 35, try to save their marriage.
James, a Strictly pro from 2006 to 2013, said: “I’ve had run-ins with Karen. She’s a scary character.
Kevin is a sweet guy.” James, 39, also said Karen had been “confrontational” with his wife Ola, a show pro from 2006 to 2015.
After Kevin said his marriage had suffered from Strictly’s schedule, James said: “We survived ten years. They’re not as strong.”
James backed head judge Shirley Ballas, saying: “She’s going to be nervous and stressed, but she’s done a great job. She’s an amazing teacher in the dance world, very respected and knows what she’s talking about.

“Let’s keep Shirley and swap some others out. It’s predictable. We’ve been watching Craig say disaster forever.
“I know what he’s going to say before he says it. Let’s get Anton on.”
But he said pro Anton du Beke should replace Craig Revel Horwood.
