I’m A Celebrity’s Amir Khan’s 11 worst general knowledge fails – including his world map blunder and political gaffes
Boxer was mocked for his lack of basic awareness of current affairs and the location of countries in the jungle - here are his finest d'oh moments...
AMIR Khan's epic brain blanks made hilarious viewing on I'm A Celebrity - and some of the gaps in his general knowledge are astounding.
From Prime Ministers to his daughter's birthday, the former world boxing champion seemed to have a brain full of nothing, despite boasting about his six GCSEs. Here are his 11 finest general knowledge faux pas...
1. Who is the Prime Minister?
Amir made ITV viewers fall off their sofas during a conversation about the UK leader - before dealing a rather sexist blow to women everywhere.
When Toff said she wanted to be Prime Minister of the camp, the boxer was heard saying: "Has a woman ever become Prime Minister?".
He then added insult to injury by saying: "Could a woman be Prime Minister?".
This revealed that he did not know the current Prime Minister is Theresa May, who took the leader role in July 2016, and he'd also forgotten the UK's other female PM Margaret Thatcher.
2. What is Boris Johnson's role in government?
Dim Amir became unlikely besties with former Tory politician Stanley Johnson in the jungle.
But on emerging from the show, he had no knowledge about what Boris Johnson - Stanley's son - does in the current UK government.
Asked what Boris' role is by The Sun, Amir reponded: "I know this one. Finance minister."
The correct answer is Foreign Minister.
3. Who is next in line to the throne?
Asked who would be ascending the throne of Great Britain after the Queen dies, Amir said: "Prince William.
"I've met him and his wife at the Olympics and we talked about skipping."
Amir is of course wrong about this, as Prince Charles - Wills' dad - is next in line to the throne.
4. Who is the leader of the Labour party?
Unable to remember the current Tory Prime Minister, Amir was also at a loss when asked who was the leader of the Labour party.
Asked for a name, he said: "Give me a letter... Oh, no, I have no idea."
Amir ought to have known the leader of the opposition is Jeremy Corbyn.
5. Where is Australia?
While on the show, Amir and Jamie Lomas - who's in tonight's final - were tasked with locating Australia on a giant map of the world.
Needless to say, the pair struggled - and took a whopping 20 minutes to find the large subequatorial country.

6. When is June in the year?
Amir worried jungle viewers during a chat with Jennie McAlpine - when he told the actress his daughter's birthday was coming in a "couple of months".
The fighter then appeared to reveal he didn't know where June falls in a year - or that he'd temporarily forgot when his daugter's birthday was.
What he actually said on the show, during an episode in December, was: "She's three, turning four in a couple of months, oh no, er, the summer, 23rd June I think."
June is in fact the sixth month in the year.

7. What is a critter?
Though the word comes up constantly in the show, Toff revealed to Ant and Dec two weeks into the series that Amir had no idea what the word "critter" meant.
Bashfully, he turned to Toff and replied: "A critter yeah... a critter is a spider, you said..."
Ant and Dec then explained: "A bug, any kind of insect or creepy-crawly."
8. What is the Bush Telegraph for on I'm A Celeb?
Until more than three weeks into the show, Amir was in the dark about what the Bush Telegraph was.
This is a room where the contestants record their thoughts on what's happened in camp for editing into the episodes.
But boxer Amir, it was revealed, didn't realise he was being filmed and just thought it was there for his benefit.
Extra Camp host Joel Dommett explained: "He thought he was just talking to someone and it was just like a weird little, sort of, therapist."
9. When is your birthday?
As well as having problems with the date of his daughter's birthday, Amir actually revealed that he doesn't know when his own birthday is.
Talking to Jennie, he said: "I don't remember my own birthday, I forget."
Amir - your birthday is 8 December, which means you've just turned 31.
10. Who sets interest rates in the UK?
When asked this question, Amir responded: "The council."
The correct answer is The Bank of England's monetary policy committee, aka the MPC.
11. What does obstinate mean?
One brilliant moment in the camp saw Iain, Stanley and Amir sitting in the Bush Telegraph - while Stan and Iain had a furious row.
Viewers were in hysterics as when the two arguing men kept using the word "obstinate", Amir looked as though he didn't understand what it meant.
Taking to Twitter, one posted: "Amir sitting there like what does obstinate even mean? #imaceleb".
I'm A Celeb concludes at 9pm tonight, with Jamie Lomas, Iain Lee and Georgia Toffolo in the final.
