IAIN Lee said he had “ultimate respect” for Dennis Wise after he left the jungle last night.
The former footballer had been accused of picking on the radio DJ throughout the series and has been labelled a “bully”.
However when it was revealed Dennis was leaving camp, Iain admitted they actually had a good relationship.
He explained: “Me and Dennis locked horns a couple of times, it was no big beef but I have ultimate respect for that man.
“I may disagree with him on some things but I have so much respect for him.”
Following his exit, Dennis, 50, addressed the claims made about his relationship with Iain and said they were actually good friends.
Dennis said: “We are going to his new talk show, then all of us are going to go to Amir's boxing in February, when he's got his first fight.
“And I am going to meet [Iain] in Gerrards Cross where his mum is in a care home.
“When asked what he made of the acccusations, Dennis continued: I am a little bit shocked at what's happened.
“We got on very well. I have got tickets for him and his kids to go to Chelsea.”
Viewers also accused Amir of having a problem with Iain after he ranted about how he “f***ed up” the camp when he first arrived.
Iain later hit back and branded the boxer an “a**hole”, much to the delight of his supporters.
