VICKY Pattison and Phillip Schofield defended Dennis Wise after fans accused him of bullying Iain Lee during last night's show.
The footballer left comedian Iain distraught when he cruelly told him that he wasn’t good enough to do the Bushtucker Trial.
Fans were outraged by his behaviour but former Jungle Queen Vicky and This Morning host Phil think he "had a point".
Speaking on today's show, Phil said: "The trouble is I thought Dennis had a point, but he just wouldn't let it go. It's like, you've made your point, now stop."
Vicky added: "He didn't execute it well, I think was the problem. And that's the worst thing, I totally agree with you.
"I'm conflicted because I love Dennis, I think he's been brilliant all the way through, and I actually really saw his point. However, he should have just dropped it."
It comes amid new reports that show bosses are now "considering removing Dennis from the jungle" after what happened last night.
A show insider told : "Producers have been holed up in meetings debating whether to reprimand Dennis or remove him altogether.
"They have a duty of care to all contestants they take very seriously."
The former footballer’s comments came after Iain said he wanted to have a go at the Tutankha-Doom trial.
Iain said: “I know I’d like to have a go on one and I know you’d like to have a go on one,” gesturing to Jamie Lomas.
Jamie told the camp he wanted to do it but Stanley said they should have a discussion about it.
Dennis jumped in and told him: “My only problem and I’ll be honest with you Iain, is that you’ve said ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ twice and what I don’t want to do is we have no dinner and so….”
Looking upset, Iain replied: “Ok but I also got 11 stars on one.”
Dennis didn’t back down and said: “I get that but you’ve also said ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ twice out of the three you’ve done you failed…”
Iain retorted: “No, I failed one of them, the other was a challenge.”
Not appearing to want to admit he was wrong, Dennis then appeared to suggest that Iain was likely to fail the trial.
Dennis quipped: “If you come back with nothing everyone will be upset.”

Iain replied: “I get it, you don’t want me to do it, I withdraw my offer, does that mean I can do no Trials for the rest of the run then?
“Is that what you’re saying, because that feels a little bit unfair.”
Dennis hit back and said: “Well Iain, the problem is you’ve gone a couple of times and you’ve come back with nothing, so that causes me a slight issue.”
Iain appeared to get agitated and said: “Well I won’t do any more Trials then, but it just feels a bit...”
Although Dennis tried to turn the tables back on him and told him to “not be like that,” fans of the show were furious at how the sportsman had put him down.
One tweeted:“Why is he being so cruel to Iain?” and another said: “So the bullying begins again...”
However, Iain finally gets to take on another trial tonight and ends up licking lots of toads.
