Towie fans confuse James Argent for his DAD in amazing throwback picture
JAMES Argent shocked his fans with an epic throwback picture of himself and his father last night.
Celebrating his 30th birthday, the Towie star shared a snap of himself as a baby with dad, Martin, and mum, Patricia - but it was his startling likeness to his dad that really caught the eye.
Taking to Instagram to share a sweet post to thank his fans for all the birthday wished he received, the reality star - who has made something of a comeback this year since returning from rehab in Thailand - posted a picture of himself as a baby.
Pictured with his mother and father, the snap is a very sweet window in on the Argent household back in the '80s.
While many fans rushed to congratulate him, and wish the ITVBE star a happy birthday, others couldn't help but notice how Arg is a dead-ringer for his dad.
"Happy birthday arg can't believe how much you are like your dad amazing enjoy your day xxxx," commented one fan.
Another joked: "U are so like your dad and u must of kept him awake all night as he looks tired.Happy Birthday ARG.Enjoy😊😊😊 [sic]."
One astonished fan simply wrote: "I thought that was you!"
Another person joining in the celebrations this week was Gemma Collins, one of James' long-time love interests.
The 36-year-old reality icon shared a video montage of pictures of them together over the years, including a snap of them kissing when they were in a relationship.
Other snaps included them on holiday and FaceTiming each other.
And Gemma also included the infamous clip of her telling Arg he was never going to get her "candy" again.
Typically over-the-top, she added the R Kelly song The World's Greatest, and some love hearts for good measure.
