Phillip Schofield leaves Holly Willoughby shocked with very ‘rude’ on-air outburst
The presenters were taking part in a Christmas segment when Holly got the giggles over Phil's comments
PHILLIP Schofield shocked Holly Willoughby on today's This Morning with a very "rude" on-air outburst.
The presenters were taking part in a Christmas segment looking at gifts for men when they were shown a game called Who is the Dude?
The charades-based game featured a blow up man doll and their co-star Steve Wilson gave them some examples of how it works.
As he moved the dolls arm around in a circular motion, he asked what he was, and Phil replied: "Clock!"
But looking stunned, Holly gasped and asked: "What did you say?"
As the crew laughed behind the camera, Phil shouted "Clock" again as she bent over and got the giggles, clearly thinking he had said something much ruder.
Holly then stood back up but covered her face with her hands as Phil laughed and said: "Did you think I was resigning live on television?"
Blushing, Holly replied: "I wasn't sure!"
Meanwhile viewers were full of praise once again for Holly's choice of outfit on today's show.
The presenter has been knocking it out of the park in the style stakes over the last few weeks and has donned a number of festive looking ensembles.
Today, the mother-of-three wore a metallic pleated skirt from Anthropologie and a black jumper by Massimo Dutti.
She topped it off with a pair of metallic shoes from Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker's range.
One fan wrote alongside the image on Instagram: "How amazing is she" while another added: "stunning skirt Holly!"
A third agreed, writing: "Wow Holly looking stunning girl go get em".
Holly's gorgeous look was even more impressive today considering she had a busy night last night at the Fashion Awards.
Holly looked great in a black trouser suit from House of Fraser and sparkly silver heels and was pictured heading home clutching her jacket close around her to fight the winter chill.
