I’m A Celebrity star Iain Lee’s best pal compares I’m A Celebrity campmates to Mean Girls bullies
Radio producer pal Katherine Boyle - who has worked with the talkRADIO presenter for five years - said the scenes were 'heartbreaking'
THE best pal of I’m A Celebrity star Iain Lee has accused his campmates of being like the bullies from film Mean Girls.
Radio producer Katherine Boyle, who has worked with the presenter for five years, said the scenes were heartbreaking to watch.
She spoke out after campmates accused the talkRADIO presenter of game-playing, while others talked about Iain behind his back.
She said: “It was like watching the film Mean Girls seeing them gang up on him.
“Iain’s a sweet person and through ignorance this situation has been able to take shape.
“I wish he knew how proud I am of him.

"I wish I could march in there and give him a hug and tell him he’s doing really well.”
Viewers saw 44-year-old, Iain, who has battled depression, break down in tears after he was too scared to finish a heights-based Dingo Dollar Challenge to win a food treat.
Anti-bullying charities also voiced concerns about Iain’s treatment on the show.
But ITV insisted: “The welfare of our celebrities is of utmost importance.”
