DAME Judi Dench’s failing eyesight has left her barely able to watch films at the cinema.
The veteran Brit actress, 82, confessed she needs to take a pal to tell her what is happening.
She said: “I do go but a friend of mine usually has to say, ‘He’s kissing her now’ or, ‘He's walking away’.”
Dame Judi — who starred as M in eight James Bond films — has told in the past of struggling to read scripts.
She has macular degeneration, which causes gradual loss of vision.
