Kezia Dugdale’s pal Alan Roden makes awkward joke as he admits he thought SHE would be evicted over Shappi Khorsandi
Her pal couldn’t hide his shock when Scarlett Moffatt asked what he thought of tonight’s eviction
KEZIA Dugdale’s friend Alan Roden put his foot in it during tonight’s I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp when he admitted he thought she would be leaving.
The Scottish MSP was saved tonight and Shappi Khorsandi was the first celebrity to leave the jungle.
Scarlett Moffatt struggled to stop laughing when he told her: “She’s used to losing things – I thought she would be going home.”
As the friends and families of the other celebs gasped, Scarlett then said: “Don’t worry! We’ll edit that bit out before Kezia watches it.”
When asked if he thought Kezia would be leaving, her pal said: “I was concerned she might be.”
He quickly tried to pull back his mistake however and said: “I think the campmates will appreciate her staying.
“She’s a really good cook.”
Shappi couldn’t hide her excitement when she found out she was leaving the jungle.
In her exit interview she admitted she was looking forward to seeing her young children.
She explained: “I’m so happy. Two weeks was enough in there.
Getting teary, she added: “I’ve got a four year old and I ached for my children.”
Amir Khan, Iain Lee and Dennis Wise were all immune to eviction after several of the campmates won immunity keys over the past few days.
