CORONATION Street fans have hailed the show's "sexiest ever moment" as Rana Nazir and Kate Connor were caught in a steamy lesbian romp.
Their affair was rumbled by Luke Britton, who opened his van door to see the pair snogging passionately in just their bras in the steamy sex scene that set Twitter aflame.
One fan wrote: "Best moment in Corrie history."
Another corrected her by replying: "Best moment in soap history."
"Kana in the van was the sexiest thing I've ever seen," said another.
The affair between the two has finally bubbled over after months of occasional drunken kisses and emotional scenes.
Rana is married to Zeedan and while she has been hiding her feelings for Kate for a long time, the show’s writers are now letting their romance blossom.
However they must now rely on Luke to keep their affair a secret.
Earlier on in tonight’s episode, troubled Rana opened up to Kate about why she could never come out as gay to her family.
She explained: “My family would have a meltdown if I wore a skirt above the knee. They would go mad…”
But as the episode continued, Kate became a shoulder for her to cry on and declared her love for Rana.
Sitting in the van, the pair started kissing before moving into the back of the van.
However, now they’ve been faced with a stunned Luke – it’s surely only a matter of time before the truth will come out.
Speaking about their relationship, Faye Brooks, who plays Kate said: “This is the first time that [she breaks down] to Kate about her past and what she's struggled with.
“[Kate] hasn’t realised the weight that she has been carrying around with her.
“Amongst all of the great, saucy, Corrie eps [fans are] gonna get (which they're going to love because it was interesting for us), they're gonna get so much heart in it as well, so much emotion attached to it - especially for Rana herself.
“Finally [Kate] wakes up and sees Rana in a whole different light.”
The road ahead is not going to be easy for the lovebirds however.

Fans are sure to be stunned by Rana's upcoming outburst but will Kate stick by her, or leave Rana for good?
