Lorraine Kelly screams as Craig David surprises her on her birthday – and tells her she’s more beautiful than ever

LORRAINE Kelly couldn’t hide her delight as Craig David surprised her live on TV to mark her 58th birthday.

The Sun’s Dan Wootton organised for Lorraine to have the singer come to the studios and celebrate her special day.

As Lorraine realised it was Craig, she screamed and ran towards him to give him a big hug.

She shouted: “I thought you were away. I didn’t think you were here!”

Craig replied: “Happy Birthday. I am so happy to be here!”

“We put everything aside when we found out it was your birthday.

“To be here, on your birthday, live on TV with you. It’s amazing!”

As Lorraine recalled the last time they were together was in a nightclub, Craig compared her to Benjamin Button and told the viewers Lorraine never aged.

Craig added: “You are stunning.”

The Born To Do It star made the special journey to London following the MOBOs where he walked away with Best R and B act.
