Brian McFadden says Botox obsessed Towie stars look like ‘weird melted candles’

The boybander and singer was less than happy with his new look after undergoing the line removal procedure for wrinkles on his forehead - and made a pointed jibe at a series of Towie stars.

BRIAN McFadden has been sworn off getting botox for life after "looking like a wax candle" after trying the procedure

The 37-year-old former Westlife singer took a targeted dig at the stars of The Only Way is Essex in the process, who have been known to try out the injections to clear their wrinkles.

After trying out the procedure himself, the dad-of-two was left less than happy with the result, after using the filler to get rid of the wrinkles on his forehead.

Speaking to magazine, Brian revealed: "I had Botox once. I had a little above my eyes, but my face wouldn't move - I'm never doing that again.

"A friend of mine was getting it done - so I gave it a go. I looked weird.

"Yes, the wrinkles had gone from my forehead, but I looked like some of these people that I see in The Only Way is Essex, and they kind of look like a melted candle."

Between the pair, they will be performing a series of the biggest hits of their two bands, Boyzone and Westlife.

The Sun also revealed back in July that Brian may be switching bands and joining Boyzone for the 25th anniversary tour.

Bandmate Shane Lynch told us: "There’s a possibility of Brian joining us. He’s doing the whole tour on a support but there’s no point him hanging around. I’d like to bring him on stage for a couple of songs with the boys.”
