ROCHELLE Humes hit back at her critics today as she took part in Radio 5 live's Mum Takeover.
Helping to present the radio special, The Saturdays star, 28, didn't let any previous criticism faze her as she revealed she once sucked snot out of her youngest daughter's nose when she was a few months old.
Appearing on the show, alongside the likes of Stacey Solomon, Giovanna Fletcher and Neev Spencer, she recounted the story to a studio full of guests.
Explaining that it's sometimes hard to know what is best as a inexperienced mother, she said: "I recently had a bit of a backlash, because - I didn't instragram the moment - but I did share the tale on my story.
"My little one, at the time was very young - she's eight-months-old now - but, when she was a baby baby and she had a really bad cold.
"I'd just been through a really... interesting evening, it was about two/three am and she was so bunged up."
Admitting that being awake at such an unsociable hour left her with few options, Rochelle revealed that she'd sucked the snot out of her little girl's nose/
She said: "I frantically googled what i could do, and I... I sucked the snot out myself and it wasn't pleasant. I shared it with a load of mums, and it was like, 'Yeah, done that before'.
"I received a bit of backlash, but, you know, what can you do."
Clearly having not listened to any of her critics, Rochelle managed to shrug off the criticism and giggle and the story.
The singer and presenter has two young daughters with husband Marvin, eight-month-old Valentina and Alaia-Mai, four.
The two pop stars have been married since 2012.
