DECLAN Donnelly has been mercilessly mocking Dennis Wise's height throughout this year's I'm a Celebrity.
The cheeky chappy has been poking fun at the former footballer's size each night - with the running joke being that the two men are actually the exact same height.
Some viewers have been puzzled as to why Dec has enjoyed ribbing Dennis, 50, so much - calling him a "very small man" but it seems some fans of the show think they have finally figured it all out.
Dec and co-host Ant McPartlin are avid football fans, and are die-hard Newcastle United supporters.
Viewers with good memories will know that as well as playing for Chelsea and England, Dennis had an infamous spell at Newcastle when he was Executive Director of Football in the late noughties.
Dennis wasn't very popular with Magpie fans during his stint thanks to some of his decisions, and this is why I'm a Celeb viewers think Ant and Dec have enjoyed their Dennis-based banter.

Taking to Twitter one wrote: "There's definitely some underlying Newcastle United ill feeling towards Dennis from ant and dec like #ImACelebrity2017".
Another tweeted: "Both Ant and Dec are Newcastle United fans and as a rule, NUFC fans don't like Dennis from the time he was Executive Director there, so think Dec is being a wee bit cheeky".
Indeed, Dennis was sacked from Newcastle just a year after he joined the management team in January 2008 thanks to various transfer rows and the team being relegated.
He also didn't help matters when he jumped to the defence of then Newcastle manager Alan Pardew in 2014, which angered the club's fans further.
Another viewer added: "Love why some people don't understand why Dec keeps on calling Dennis Wise but us Geordies/Newcastle Utd fans know why he is though".
A fourth wrote: "@antanddec ok little Dennis Wise did not cut it as Newcastle United Football Director but let it go guys."
