Ferne McCann reveals she named her baby daughter Sunday after her favourite brand of skin cleanser
FERNE McCann has revealed that her daughter Sunday’s name was inspired by her facial cleanser.
The new mum explained that she came up with her daughter’s unusual name long before her daughter was born following an encounter with a make-up artist.
She told !: "I decided Sunday would be my girl's name really early on in my pregnancy.
"It came to me after my make-up artist recommended a cleanser to me by a brand called Sunday Riley.
“I thought it had a really nice ring to it and the more I thought about it, the more I loved it. I wanted something unique but not too weird.
“I know that not everyone is going to love it but I've had a great response from people so far."
And while Ferne is feeling confident about her baby’s first name, she’s now stumbling over what to give her as a middle name following a negative response from a pal.
She explained: "I felt quite certain that her middle name would be Sky, but then I told a friend who didn't like it and now I'm not sure.
“I definitely want her middle name to be one syllable and to begin with an S because I like the alliteration."

During the interview Ferne also confirmed that Sunday’s dad Arthur Collins will not be part of their lives at all following being found guilty for an acid attack that took place at an East London club on Easter weekend.
Her comments come after The Sun revealed that Ferne had been to see him for the last time behind bars with their newborn, telling him: "This is the last time you will see either of us".
He is due to be sentenced on December 19 and he's been warned to expect a "very substantial" stint behind bars.
