OLLIE Locke has revealed that he thinks pal and I’m a Celeb star Georgia Toffolo is playing up her role as a posh girl in the public eye.
The 30-year-old reality star, who has just signed up to the new series of Celebs Go Dating, has revealed that he thinks Toff has become “Chelsea-fied” after finding fame based in the Royal Borough.
Talking about his pals time in the I’m a Celebrity jungle, Ollie proudly declared her “top three” potential – but agreed with London Hughes when she said that her middle class attitude could be a stumbling point in winning public favour.
In conversation with The Sun Online, London told him: “I don’t think she’ll win, only because, I mean she deserves to, but with I’m a Celeb, it’s all for the working class, baby.
“Everyone that’s won - working class.”
Jumping to his friend’s defence, Ollie said: “Can I just say? That I know this sounds silly, but I’ve met Toff’s dad before and he’s like ‘alright, son, how ya doin’?
“And so you sit there and just like...I mean Toff’s persona is a lot more than what she is. She’s a Torquay girl, her parents had a bit of trouble with some stuff, some like financial trouble, but it’s not my place to say.”
The Sun revealed last week that Toff’s father, Gary Bennett, made his money by selling old scrap for cash.
His humble career stands in stark contrast to his daughter’s glamorous image as the posho on the ITV show.
Speaking about his friend and who we’ve come to know on screen, Ollie added: “You know what? Her character is a lot more posh than she actually is. Not in a personal way, but I think her speaking voice has become a lot more Chelsea-fied living in Chelsea, but she’s a really down, salt-of-the-earth bird.
He then added: “I agree that your audience is ‘Debs from Bolton’ and I don’t know if that’s going to translate. But we’ll see.”
The original Chelsea cast member is trying his luck to find love on E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating, due to be aired in the new year.
Speaking about his dating disasters, Ollie joked about how his relationships have nearly all played out on screen.
Talking disastrous dates, he said: “You’ve f***ing seen them all!
“I’ve had some shockers - I think my worst was that roller-skating date years ago when I had long hair and I snogged a guy on roller blades and that was pretty horrific.

“On a Sunday afternoon. The guy had a little tiny cold sore brewing and I was like, I sat there and I wanted to kiss him but I was like ‘EURGH I don’t want that’, but I kind of went in and thought ‘do you know what? I’ll do it for the camera’.
“So I’m risking it - whether it was a cold sore or a spot I didn’t know - and thank f*** he pulled away.
"Thank god he did because otherwise I would’ve had facial herpes!”
