Wayne Rooney’s party girl Laura Simpson slams Coleen’s statement as ‘attention seeking b*****ks’ in expletive tweet
WAYNE Rooney's party girl Laura Simpson has slated Coleen Rooney's statement about her marriage as "attention seeking b*****ks'.
In an honest statement Coleen addressed rumours about her marriage and admitted she thought her relationship with Wayne was "over".
Taking to Twitter, Laura - who was with Wayne when he was caught drink driving three months ago - wrote: "What a load of attention seeking b*****ks" but swiftly deleted the tweet.
She later added: "Very very attention seeking if you ask me."
On Friday, Coleen released a lengthy statement saying she is standing by Wayne, 32, despite his latest infidelity and what she called his "silly and selfish" mistakes.
She wrote: "It didn't feel right wearing my ring, I see it as a sign of commitment and I was unsure what was happening. I don't always wear my ring day to day, especially when I go the gym which is where I get stalked by paps each morning.
"So, if I don't always have it on, maybe it's just because am going the gym or haven't put it on before the school run!!
"A few people have been feeling sorry for me, please don't. I appreciate getting cared about, however, I am a strong person, I don't feel sorry for myself. Also a few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it's something I want to try and work on.
"Before the headlines start.... No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he's never left. Yes, it has been a s**t time, and yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end."
Coleen called Wayne a "brilliant dad" and said she still loves him.
She stopped short of listing his good qualities, saying he didn't deserve that just yet, but did show sympathy for the way he is portrayed.
The mother-of-three hinted that alcohol drastically changes Wayne's behaviour and was responsible for what happened that night with Simpson.
She continued: "It's my decision .... do I love Wayne ... yes I do. If I didn't then I wouldn't be trying to make it work.
"I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don't want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do.
"I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point, I’m not the type of person to put a show on and say we’re all loved-up….I’m just real."
