ANTON Du Beke has called his life "perfect" since becoming a dad to twins.
The professional dancer became a first-time dad at 50 when his wife Hannah Summers, 41, gave birth in March.
Anton, who was booted from the new series of Strictly earlier this month, has opened up about life as a new parent and revealed the two babies are doing well.
He told the boy and girl, whose names have not been revealed, are both very "calm" and they are eating and sleeping well.
Anton said: "I’ve become a dad later in life and, for me, that’s been the most perfect thing...
"We’re not suffering because the babies are so good, it’s absolute luck.
"They sleep well, they eat well, they’re calm. I do as much as I can when I can, but when I’m at work Hannah does it all and she is remarkable."
He also spoke out about his romantic Christmas Day proposal last year.
Anton said: "I got engaged on Christmas Day last year as a massive surprise.
"I hid the ring in a Christmas present.
"I’d organised it all and we got married on April 20th this year, five years to the day since we first met."
Anton organised the wedding himself without any help from Hannah - and she was "delighted" with all his choices.
