The X Factor viewers praise Lloyd Macey after he performs against doctor’s orders

X FACTOR viewers praised Lloyd Macey after he performed against doctor's orders on tonight's show.

Louis Walsh told the audience that they had to call in a doctor an hour before tonight's show to asses whether he could sing or not.

Lloyd is suffering from laringitis and a chest infection but managed to perform an incredible rendition of Elton John and George Michael's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

The judges were also impressed by his performance with Nicole Scherzinger saying it was her favourite one of his so far in the competition.

Nicole said: "It wasn't perfect but it came from a different place."

Simon Cowell was also impressed telling him: "You knew you needed to give 110% at the end of the song and you prepared yourself and you nailed it, well done."

Viewers at home were in awe of the Welsh lad's performance saying he still knocked it out of the park despite his illness.

One wrote: "@LloydMacey1 #xfactor2017 #XFactor Now that's the true sign of a professional.Even with the effects of a sore throat he still sounds amazing."

Another said: "@LloydMacey1 well done, respect for what you did there. And you did a song by one of the greats justice, know who I’m voting for #XFactor".

A third wrote: "Can’t believe Lloyd lost his voice completely and was told to withdraw from the competition, he took a risk and it paid off! He sounded great! But I feel like Lloyd needs to be more versatile 🙈 #XFactor".
