Victoria Beckham cracks a smile as she has a Thanksgiving dinner with friends in London
IT seems one thing can coax a smile out of Victoria Beckham: a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
The former Spice Girl beamed as she left a Thanksgiving celebration with her friends in London this week.
Victoria was not joined by her husband David or their children and appeared to be letting her hair down with her pals.
It’s rare to see the singer-turned-designer crack a grin but it seems she was full of joy after hanging out with her mates.
Victoria has previously poked fun at herself for not smiling enough in public.
Appearing on , she jokingly told the publication she didn’t smile because she has “a responsibility to the fashion community”.
Earlier this year, she admitted people must think she was “miserable all the time” and said she actually chose not to smile because she felt insecure.
She told : “I don't know if it's the years of being photographed and the criticism but I just feel exposed and vulnerable and uncomfortable, and I can't be myself.
“I can't wait till I'm off [the red carpet] and we can all just have a drink, throw our heads back, and who cares if your lip gloss has worn off? You can relax.”
As well as enjoying dinner with her friends, Victoria marked the American holiday by dressing up as a turkey.
In a funny Instagram post, she sat for a picture which she later posed a feathery dress onto.
Her fun Thanksgiving picture came just days after she appeared on This Morning, with her best mate Eva Longoria.
During the candid interview, Victoria, 43, revealed that her daughter Harper, seven, is already very aware of how lucky she is to have the life she does.

She said: “Harper knows that Mummy and Daddy, and Auntie Eva do things to help other people, and she wants to do that as well.
“She understands, even at six, that she is very blessed. She’s very lucky to have what she has.”
And she revealed how she felt about her own daughter going off to school, saying: “I think it's great, we're blessed to have children, it's a good thing, if you're sad your baby's going off to school, you're a good mum.”
