I’m A Celebrity fans in hysterics as Joe Swash makes massive blunder on Extra Camp – and NONE of the show’s co-hosts correct him
I’M A Celebrity fans were in hysterics on Thursday night when Joe Swash made a massive blunder on Extra Camp – and no one corrected him.
Ant and Dec were talking to Joe about how Amir Khan will do in tonight’s Bushtucker Trial when he made the epic gaffe.
Ant said Amir was doing great on the show after he figured out how it works.
The Olympic boxer admitted he had never watched the ITV reality show before entering the jungle.
Dec then added: “Maybe if we explain it well enough, he’ll be fine.”
Joe then compared teaching Amir about the trials to the “Pavlova Theory” where dogs are trained to have a conditioned response when they hear a bell.
He said: “It’s like that Pavlova theory, you know you teach a dog a trick and then they just do it so you said ‘ding ding’ and he [Amir] went straight into it.”
Ant added: “It’s about feeding the dog isn’t it? You ring the bell and feed the dog, then you take the food away and ring the bell and the dog still goes for it.”
Joel Dommett then quipped: “Then you feed the dog pavlova,” as Ant, Dec and Scarlett collapsed into a fit of giggles at Joe’s expense.
However, what Joe was actually referring to was Pavlov’s Dogs Theory but no one corrected his mistake.
However, viewers at home found it hilarious.
One wrote: “Pavlova ?!? Does Joe mean Pavlov’s dogs?? It’s conditioning not teaching them tricks, haven’t got enough characters to explain so just google it (sic).”
Another said: “Joe Swash just referred to Pavlov’s conditioning theory as ‘ Pavlova’ and none of them even batted an eyelid.”
Meanwhile, tonight’s show will see Amir and Vanessa White take on The Fright House in tonight’s Bushtucker Trial.
A preview clip of the challenge was revealed on today’s This Morning and Alison Hammond revealed the challenge was two years in the making and is inspired by the famous presidential home in Washington DC.
The camp will be depending on the pair to bring home some stars so they can eat well tonight.
