Fans of daytime show thought Tommy looked like the Corrie favourite as he went up against his brother Davy in a lie detector test to find out who stole their dad's games console
JEREMY Kyle fans were convinced Coronation Street's Chesney Brown had switched the cobbles for the Kyle studio on today's show.
Two brothers, Davy and Tommy, appeared in Jezza's studio having been accused by their old brother, Peter, of pinching their dad's games console.
More interesting than the family drama though was Tommy's likeness for Corrie favourite Chesney.
They wrote on Twitter: "Chesney did it 🙂🙂 #jeremykyle.
"Chesney and Max Brannings love child #jeremykyle.
"Fire up the ouija board and ask Schmeicel #jeremykyle."
After receiving a grilling from Jeremy and undergoing the show's famous lie detector test, Tommy was found to be telling the truth, while Davy was guilty of the theft.
Jeremy wasted no time in letting him know how he felt, saying: "Let me tell you something, Mr Cocky. When this goes out you’ll be found out for what you are - a little low life."
Meanwhile, the soap character's been having just as tough a time as his real life lookalike.
Chesney's having to fend off Daniel Osborne's advances on his fiancée Sinead Tinker as well as balancing a demanding new role in the kebab shop.
On Monday night Tracy Barlow helped Chesney plot his revenge on love rival Daniel.
The red-head dad was ready to "punch his lights out" after finding out Daniel had met up with his girlfriend in secret, earlier that afternoon.
Unbeknown to Ches, the pair enjoyed a deep and meaningful heart to heart, with factory worker Sinead confessing she "missed" being with her ex, and him revealing he felt the same, in the first instalment of the ITV soap.
