Shamed I’m A Celebrity star Jack Maynard once played a creepy YouTube ‘challenge’ to guess young girls’ ages… including a 14 year old
SHAMED I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here star Jack Maynard once made a creepy YouTube video where he and pop star brother Conor guessed teenage girls' ages as part of a game.
In the video, Jack struggles to work out how old a series of young girls are – but does manage to correctly guess that one is just 14 years old.
Accompanied by YouTuber Mikey Pearce, Jack and Conor giggle as they look at a photo of a teenage girl, who we’re choosing not to name here, and try and guess her age.
After Mikey jokes that she’s “six”, Jack says “I think she’s literally 14 years old”. Mikey then guesses she’s twelve, then Conor says “fifteen”. Jack raises his arms in celebration and cheers when it’s revealed she’s actually only 14 years old.
The group go on to try and guess the age of other teenage girls, as part of a ‘Guess Her Age’ challenge popular on YouTube.
The video, which was uploaded to Jack’s YouTube account in September, was still available to view three days before Jack entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle – but has now been pulled down.
Fans of the shamed star have already noticed that the video has been taken down - with one writing "All of the “guess her age” (creepy anyway!) Youtube challenges he is in seem to have disappeared."
Jack was booted off I’m A Celebrity after begging a 14 year old to send him photos of her boobs.
The messages where reportedly sent from Jack's Facebook account - which he took down yesterday - in December 2011, when he was 16.
The pair struck up a conversation on the social media site because she was a fan of the vlogger’s pop star older brother Conor, 25. There is no suggestion he was aware of her age at the time.
The conversation, obtained by the Mirror, shows Jack asked the girl to send him a modelling image, writing: "But yeah, your boobs are so nice! Would look good in a bra shot! ever taken one?'.
But the woman, who is now 20, has insisted Jack, who she claims was 16 years old at the time, wasn't aware how old she was while sending her the messages and admitted she "never once felt harassed" by them and that the messages were "harmless".
She told The Sun last night: “He was 16, I was 14. It was something that happens to everyone.
“I never once felt harassed. We were kids, it’s not once harmed me at all in any way. It’s in the past. It is a serious allegation to make, but you’re a kid, you make mistakes.
“He didn’t know how old I was, and I didn’t know how old he was at the time. I cannot stress enough that the messages were harmless.”
After he was axed from the hit show on Tuesday night, Jack’s spokeswoman insisted he wanted to leave the jungle to defend himself.
She said: “Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed it would be better to bring him out of the show.”
This all comes days after The Sun revealed he had made racist and homophobic slurs online.
