Amir Khan is now a favourite to win I’m A Celebrity and Kezia Dugdale is next to get the boot
AMIR Khan has stormed forward to become one of the bookies' favourites to win I'm A Celeb, despite going in as an outsider.
According to Ladbrokes, the 30-year-old boxer is now leading the camp and they're giving odds of 6/1 on him winning - an impressive feat considering he was 16/1 just yesterday.
Amir - who is thought to have landed a £250,000 jungle pay packet - has proved popular with viewers after lying to camp mates that there were snakes in his task to make himself seem more brave.
As well as Amir, Corrie star Jenny McAlpine (5/1) Made In Chelsea's Georgia "Toff" Toffolo (9.4) are tipped to win the ITV programme.
A Ladbrokes source said: "Khan has had a tough time of things so far Down Under, but his decision not to throw in the towel in last night's trial has seen the King of the Ring's odds of being crowned King of the Jungle slashed considerably."
Meanwhile sacked Scottish Labour politicial Kezia Dugdale, 36, is favourite to leave after the next public vote.
Kezia, 36, didn't tell her party she was going into I'm A Celeb when asking for time off, merely stating she was going on an overseas charity mission, and the misinformation led to her being axed from her role.
Along with footballer's wife Rebekah Vardy, Kezia - the former leader of the Scottish Labour Party - is 40/1 to win, and considered a rank outsider.
But Jamie Lomas and Stanley Johnson are in with a fighting chance of scooping the prize, with odds of 6/1 being offered by the bookmaker on both of them.
There's less hope for Shappi Khorsandi (10/1), Dennis Wise (12/1), Iain Lee (16/1) and Vanessa White (20/1) though it's still very early to tell who could wear the jungle crown.

Early though it may be, Jack Maynard has been axed from the show less than 72 hours after it started after The Sun exposed racist and homophobic tweets he'd posted.
It's reported the YouTube star also sent inappropriate messages to one of his many female fans online and now it's thought he won't be paid a penny for his time in the jungle.
Now fans of the show are trying to guess who will replace him.
I'm A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
