Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in hysterics as Alison Hammond reveals how she stopped her boobs sweating in the jungle
ALISON Hammond had Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in hysterics today as she revealed how she stopped her boobs from sweating while in the jungle.
The This Morning presenter appeared on the ITV reality show back in 2010.
Opening up about her time in the jungle, Alison admitted: “I never used the shower to be honest. They give you a deodorant, it’s an organic one so it doesn’t smell great.
“You get soap, deodorant, lip balm, moisturiser a mirror, a toothbrush and a luxury item.
“Mine was Vaseline, I just wanted it for my lips. I didn’t like their lip balm.
“Also, I’ve got big boobs and there was chafing so I could put a bit of Vaseline underneath them…”
As Holly collapsed into a fit of giggles, a shocked Phil said: “Stop, stop saying the word with a ‘V’.”
Alison also revealed she brought an extra phone with her into the hotel while she was on lockdown.
“When you’re in lockdown they take everything from you, even your mobile phone,” she said.
“I’ve been on reality TV shows before so I knew this and I took two phones. I gave them a dud phone and I kept my phone on me. So when the chaperone left my hotel room, I’d be on the phone to my mum asking ‘who’s in the jungle? What’s happening?'”
“And then I could speak to my son, I spoke to him for the 10 days I was on lockdown.
“I knew there was no way I could take it into the jungle because they’d check my bag so I put it into my suitcase and they never checked my bag so I could have taken it in but I’d have been busted.
“I would’ve gone to the dunny, taken my microphone off and used it.
Holly was shocked and said: “Can you stop…who are you?” Alison replied: “It’s good though isn’t it?”
“To lie and cheat?” Holly added as Phil said: “That’s not the name of the game, you said you would’ve taken it in if you could.”
Alison swiped: “You’re such a teacher’s swot.”
Alison also admitted she found it hard to integrate into the group as a late arrival.
She said: “It was tough, it felt like they’d bonded.”
