I’m A Celebrity fans mock Amir Khan for ‘lying’ about snakes in his Bushtucker Trial
AMIR Khan has been called a liar by I’m A Celebrity fans after telling his campmates he faced snakes in last night’s Bushtucker Trial – despite the fact there weren’t any.
The boxer won all ten stars for camp and returned to a hero’s welcome when he finished the task.

But viewers turned on him after he told a lie about what he really faced when he was immersed in a tank of water.
Amir explained: “I dropped the number seven key right to the bottom, and had just 60 seconds to go.
“I put my hands in and there were spiders, eels, snakes...”
Knowing about his phobia of serpents, which saw him fail the first Bushtucker Trial with Georgia Toffolo, his co-stars were shocked and asked him to repeat what he had said.
Amir then replied that there had been snakes in the tank with him.
Eagle eyed viewers called him out however, with many branding him a liar after not seeing a single snake in the tank.
One fan tweeted: “Amir literally just lied about 3 times telling them about that trial.”
Another wrote: “Amir saying there was snakes and spiders what a liar.”

A third commented: “Sorry Amir I don’t remember there being any snakes in that trial.”
While a fourth joked: “Only snake in that tank way Amir was his 2 inch trouser snake the liar.”

During the trial Amir was joined by by eels, mud crabs, 200 crayfish and tabbies.
Afterwards he said: “I was so focused. I wouldn’t let me team mates down in camp. It was so hard in there honestly. I can go back now and make my camp smile.
“It makes me very happy today. I’m very proud of myself.”
