Mel Sykes and Olly Murs ‘besotted’ as she tells pals she could marry him – but doesn’t want his baby, mag claims
MEL Sykes and Olly Murs are so in love with each other, they’re already talking about marriage and babies, a new magazine report claims.
But while Mel, 47, is keen for a wedding, her 14 years younger boyfriend doesn’t want to rush things, say Closer magazine.
And, the mag claims, Olly wants to be a young father and is ready to start a family – but Mel, who has two teenage sons, doesn’t want to have a baby.
“Olly has always said he wants children of his own one day, but Mel has made it clear she’s not keen on having another child,” says Closer magazine’s source.
Mel already has Roman, 15, and Valentino, 17, with her first husband Daniel Caltagirone.
The magazine goes on to claim that Mel and Olly tried to keep their relationship private, but it was Mel who was telling friends about their secret romance.
Now, the mag’s sources fear that the couple want different things.
“Pals have urged Olly to be cautious as they fear they want different things, but it’s been tough.
“Their chemistry is undeniable.
“Mel appears besotted with Olly and really likes him. She’s even told friends she can see herself marrying him.
“But he’s told pals he’s not sure he’s ready for a full-blown relationship in the public eye.”
The Sun’s Bizarre column first broke the exclusive story that Mel and Olly had been secretly dating for almost a year.
“Mel loves a younger man and really fell for Olly when he got into shape late last year,” an insider told Bizarre.
“They were initially introduced through a mutual friend. They started texting for ages and some of the messages ended up getting quite saucy.
“They ended up meeting for a date and have had a whole series of secret dates at his house where she will sometimes stay overnight.
“They have both been determined for nobody to find out. It’s been a bit off and on and there’s a real physical attraction between them.”
