I’m A Celeb’s Amir Khan mocked by pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom after he screams when he touches a snake and quits first trial

I’M A Celebrity’s Amir Khan was not only mocked by viewers after he freaked out during last night’s Bushtucker Trial but by his own wife.

Amir’s other half Faryal Mahkdoom – who is expecting their second child – couldn’t help but poke fun at her husband after he wimped out of the trial after grabbing a snake.

The former boxing champ, 30, panicked and ducked out just a couple of minutes into the ordeal called Critter-cal Rescue.

He had crawled into a chamber to retrieve keys to unlock Georgia “Toff” Toffolo, 23, who was locked in a box underground.

As she screamed under a deluge of cockroaches, he yelled when nipped by a mud crab.

He had already suffered a torrent of maggots and Amir then put his hand in a hole to grab a key and pulled out the snake.

In a panic, he started yelling: “I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here” to bring the trial to an end.

Toff was visibly disappointed as it meant the pair, pitched into the trial by public vote, won no stars.

It left their campmates only the usual rice and beans to eat.

Amir, who says he has never watched the show before, said: “I feel bad for the team because I really wanted to get some meal tickets but I just had to give up. It got so hard.”

Taking to Twitter, Faryal wrote: “I don’t think my hubby Amir Khan realizes what he got himself into”.

She also liked an Instagram posted on ITV’s official account which said: “Come on, your name’s Amir Khan, not Amir Khan’t!”

Despite his failure, Amir has been voted to take on the Bushtucker Trial again tonight.

Viewers mocked him last night when a picture emerged of him posing with a snake after he said he was afraid of them.
