Amir Khan is being paid 10 TIMES as much as I’m A Celebrity campmates for his stint on the show
AMIR Khan is believed to be earning ten times as much as some of the other contestants on this year's I'm A Celebrity 2017.
The Bolton-born boxer is believed to have been offered £250,000 to sign up for the show, while other lesser-known stars are thought to be offered just £25,000.
Speaking to The Sun over the weekend, an insider revealed: "There's a very wide range of payments on the show, and every year some of the top names bag themselves around £250,000."
Revealing that Amir and Stanley Johnson - father to MPs Boris and Jo - were at the top end of this year's pay scale, the source explained:
"This year Amir and Stanley are probably the biggest names, along with Jennie off Coronation Street. But the pay scale slides all the way down to about a tenth of that.
"The least known stars tend to get somewhere around the £25,000 mark."
Bosses always remain tight-lipped about the fees paid to stars, however.
Though £250,000 is nothing to sneer at it pales into comparison with Katie Price's fee for one of her two stints on the show - 2004 and 2009 - is believed to have netted her £400,000.

YouTube Jack Maynard is thought to be one of the lowest earning celebs, putting him on a par with Joel Dommett and Diverstiy’s Jordan Banjo from last year's series.
They were both thought to be the lowest earners at about £25,000.
Amir, however, is surely one of the richest stars to have entered the jungle in recent memory. As of July 2013 his net worth stood at £18million, according to The Sunday Times 2016 rich list.
He's has made a lot of money from his fights, and reportedly scooped £12million from bouts in 2014 alone.
