Former EastEnders star Pam St. Clement wants to launch a range of huge Pat Butcher style earrings

Fans of the soap favourite, 75, could well splash out on a bit of her style. Pam hinted she could be the face of a bling new range

EASTENDERS legend Pat Butcher died a death on screen but her iconic huge earrings could be given a new lease of life as actress Pam St Clement reveals plans for a jewellery range.

The screen star, best known for playing Albert Square's trouble-maker former prostitute, delighted fans as she teased the release of an OTT collection based on her character's infamous bling.

Pam, 75, took on the role of the leopard-print clad jailbird in 1986 and appeared in more than 2,000 episodes before her departure in 2011.

So that's plenty of scope for studded gem variations, dangling pendants and the signature gold hoop.

In a chat with the fans' favourite confessed: "I love the idea of having my own earrings on sale."

She continued: ";It would be great to do that, especially as those sorts of earrings are coming back - the biggies!

"They're much more in fashion now. And it's very true to say Pat was known for her earrings.

"I'd want them to be bling - the bigger the better and the shinier the better."

Yet despite a quarter of a decade spent with eye-popping bling adoring her ears, Pam confessed the glittering treasures from the BBC's wardrobe department didn't hang too heavy.

She added while she preferred a more "subtle" adornment she believed there was a market for Pat's outrageous fashion sense, and continued: "I've never been asked to front a range, but I should have been.

Gone To Pot shows Pam St Clement smoking a spliff with nuns

"I would have accepted that opportunity - absolutely."

As part of the documentary Pam and fellow celebrities explore the use of marijuana for both medical and recreational purposes in US states where it is legal and meet people who have experienced both the benefits and the downsides.

Last week, she left viewers in hysterics as she puffed on a spliff - with a bunch of nuns for company.
