Who is getting paid the most on this year's I'm a Celebrity?

The exact amount that each celebrity will get paid is kept closely guarded.

But we do know that the top stars will get around £250,000, and some command even higher sums.

Indeed, The Sun revealed how Amir Khan is pocketing £300,000 for appearing – making him the best-paid contestant in 17 years.

A jungle source said: “He’s the highest-earning contestant ever, even eclipsing what they paid Katie Price."

Corrie's Jennie McAlpine is also thought to be among the highest earners, while Boris Johnson's dad Stanley is also reportedly receiving a six-figure sum.

Who gets paid the least on I'm a Celebrity?

Each member of the camp gets paid totally different sums according to how famous they are.

Lesser known names, including comedian Shappi Khorsandi, are expected to be at the lower end of the pay scale.

A source told the Sun: "The least known stars tend to get somewhere around the £25,000 mark."

However, even this is more than Georgia Toffolo, who The Sun exclusively revealed is earning the least – despite winning the show.

The Made in Chelsea star is trousering just £13,000 from her three weeks in the jungle.

The 23-year-old's meagre deal is believed to be one of the lowest the ITV programme has ever dished out to a campmate.

What does the winner of I'm a Celebrity get?

Toff was voted the winner of I'm a Celebrity 2017.

She won't receive any extra cash bonus for winning the show.

She just gets the honour of being crowned Queen of the Jungle – and all the post-victory opportunities that come with it.

It's already been revealed there is a TV bidding war to sign her up.

Do contestants get paid the full amount even if they quit the show?

ITV’s rules state that contestants can take their FULL paycheck home IF they manage to last 72 hours in the jungle.

If they don't last this long, they see their cash dramatically cut.

They will, however, always get some money for taking part.

What have did last year's I'm a Celebrity contestants earn?

Last year The Sun exclusively revealed how much the 2016 campers were earning.

Countdown Queen Carol Vorderman took home £200,000 to appear on the ITV reality TV contest. Frankie Bridge’s footballer husband Wayne earned £150,000 while EastEnders star Larry Lamb and Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas were also believed to have taken home a six-figure sum.

Strictly Come Dancing dancer Ola Jordan was paid £90,000, while Gogglebox star and winner Scarlett Moffatt and model Lisa Snowdon were paid £70,000.

Olympic hockey player Sam Quek was said to have received between £70,000 and £40,000.

The least paid stars were Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo and comedian Joel Dommett, who banked £25,000 each.
