Little Mix’s concerned fans think they need a break after Jade Thirlwall loses her voice
The singer was forced to go on voice rest yesterday after getting a throat infection - but worried fans fear that the band are putting too much strain on themselves to perform as Jade continued to participate in the performance
LITTLE Mix found themselves one voice down during their second of two gigs at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday night.
Singer Jade Thirlwall announced on the band’s Twitter page that she had been put on vocal rest after coming down with a throat infection and completely losing her voice.
She told the band’s 10.6million Twitter followers: “I’m sorry to say Nottingham fans that my voice has completely gone as I have a throat infection...so the girls and I are going to need your help tonight! x jade x”
In a picture posted with the statement, the star is seen pulling a stroppy sad face as she wears a sign around her neck stating: “Vocal Rest – so please p*** off and don’t talk to me…thanks huns”.
Despite her voice rest, the star still performed alongside her bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock in their energetic routines.
Fans later posted videos of them singing along to help the band in their time of need.
