Talking about the potential lack of food, Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, 23, said: "Food wise I will miss Beef Wellington, it’s my favourite thing in the world.

She then added: "And I really like a six-inch tuna subway."

Meanwhile, YouTube star Jack Maynard, 22, was more worried about what he might have to eat:

Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine, 33, was also trying to remain positive and said:  "What is the worst that can happen? That is the question, well you're not going to let anything really bad happen to me are you?'

Boris Johnson's dad, Stanley Johnson, 77, said: "I look forward to challenges you see, that is fine. And I've climbed Mount Kilimanjaro a few times in the last five years."

Former Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, 42, seemed to question his decision to go into the jungle, and said: "Do I have any questions of self doubt? Yeah every day, I'm like, 'What am I doing? I must be mental.'

"But I think I wouldn't be human if I didn't have those thoughts."

Elsewhere comedienne Shappi Khorsandi, 44, was remaining positive and said: "Listen I'm wearing a smile on my face, I always wear a smile on my face, but inside I'm kind of screaming."

And footballer's wife Rebekah Vardy, 35, admitted she was determined to go the distance: "I will 100% not say those words 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.'"
