IT may be four days before the stars spend their first night in I’m a Celebrity – but for viewers at home, the game has already begun.
The bosses of the ITV show announced on Instagram on Tuesday night that fans who are eager to get involved now can – by signing up to the app and pairing off the celebs for their entrance into the jungle.
To help their schemers in training, I’m a Celebrity also posted a video of the camp mates revealing what they want least from their fellow camp mates – which could make for some cringeworthy couple-ups.
In the clip, Rebekah Vardy revealed: “My worst nightmare would be to be paired with someone that doesn’t want to get stuck in and just moans.”
Amir Khan said that he didn’t like “arrogant or stuck up” people, while Jamie Lomas admitted that he didn’t want any “divas” joining him.
Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo said: “I really don’t get on with people who are unkind. I hate it and I take real issue with it.”
Dennis Wise appeared confident that he would be OK no matter what was thrown at him, and added: “I’ve been able to deal with big personalities – I’ve had Vinnie Jones as best man at my wedding!”
Viewers have until Saturday to pair off their favourite celebs – whether to be nice to them, or watch them squirm with awkward encounters before even entering the jungle.
The show is set to be the most gruelling series yet as the team behind the show are busy preparing some of the harshest Bushtucker Trials yet.
And the campsite doesn’t appear to be much better either – with the team finding a 5ft python in the camp just days before the celebs are due to arrive.
The iconic jungle waterfall also looked to be in jeopardy as leeches invaded the set.
Incoming bad weather may render the waterfall area, where the contestants usually shower, a no-go area, as the creek becomes infested with leeches.
The reports that the crew are anticipating the camp's location to be battered by wet weather during the first few days of filming.
The bloodsucking creatures are tempted out by this, and it means that the waterfall shower - made famous thanks to the bevy of bikini-clad contestants who've lathered up in it - would be out of bounds some days.
