Everton striker Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen are loved-up and dreaming of a baby girl
COLEEN and Wayne Rooney are all loved-up again — enjoying a romantic break and hoping for a baby girl.
The Wag, 31, has finally forgiven her drink-drive-shame husband and arrived with him yesterday for a country spa weekend.
Their friends say they want to focus on the arrival of their fourth child early next year.
A pal said: “They are both very excited about the baby, and they are desperately hoping for a girl to add to their family.
“They are not going to find out the baby’s gender before they are born, and will of course be happy either way.
“But they would both love a daughter.”
The Everton striker, 32, has been in his wife’s bad books since September when he was caught drink-driving with party girl Laura Simpson in the passenger seat.
Pregnant Coleen was snapped without her wedding ring after the incident and went on holiday to Barbados without him last month.
One source said: “Since Wayne was arrested, Coleen hasn’t been interested in seeing him or spending any time with him at all.
"She was absolutely furious with him. But over time, her icy demeanour has thawed, and she’s forgiven him.
“This weekend is about them spending time just the two of them, with no kids and no football and looking to the future rather than at what’s gone before.”
The couple, who have three sons, have gone to trendy Cotswolds retreat Soho Farmhouse.
They were spotted by other guests relaxing on one of the outdoor sofas.
One said: “They looked like any other couple, enjoying each other’s company.”
Wayne was banned from the road for two years and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
