THE heartbroken ex of Strictly siren Nadiya Bychkova has told how she cruelly ditched him and waltzed off with a male model.
Miha Vodicar had a “tempestuous” three-year romance with Nadiya, 28, which began after the couple became dance partners and ended in 2010.
But he was left reeling when she abruptly ended their romance and began dating catwalk hunk Peter Klinc. Miha was devastated when Nadiya and Peter — who met on the Slovenian version of Strictly — were said to have enjoyed months of secret liaisons behind his back.
Miha even warned the wife of Nadiya’s current Strictly partner Davood Ghadami, 35, to watch out, saying: “Once she decides who she wants, that is it.”
Ukrainian-born Nadiya, who has posed for Playboy, is now in a relationship with Slovenian footballer Matija Skarabot and the couple have a baby daughter.
Ditched Miha told the Sun on Sunday of his break-up: “It was difficult and broke my heart.
“We got back to dancing almost immediately but it took maybe a year for us to really get past it. We had real issues for two months.
“It was only after that we decided we had to move on.”
Miha claimed that he and first love Nadiya had already ended their relationship by the time she began hooking up with new love Peter.
But he confessed that she would react explosively whenever he quizzed her about it — raising his suspicions.
He said: “Her relationship with Peter was a consequence, not the cause, of our split. He was not the reason.
“She was available already so she could do whatever she wanted.
“We never went so deep into finding out why they got together because we decided to carry on with our dancing.
“The more questions you asked, the worse it was.”
From their first dance on the BBC1 show, Nadiya’s sizzling chemistry with EastEnders actor Davood has been noticed by the Strictly judges. Bruno Tonioli told the pair after their sexy cha-cha routine: “My God, you were going nuclear out there.”
Craig Revel Horwood added: “I was just a bit bewildered by the heat in that.” In a post-dance interview with host Claudia Winkleman, Davood — who plays Kush in the soap — conceded it had been “a bit awkward dancing like that”, given his wife was in the audience.
Their quickstep the following week saw Bruno criticised after he commented that the pair looked like they were going “straight to the bedroom” after their routine.
Miha, 29, a pro dancer from Slovenia, told how the pair continued dancing after their split.
Following months of tension, they eventually decided to put their personal differences behind them and focus on their partnership ON the dancefloor.
Nadiya’s relationship with Peter — which saw her dubbed a “man-eater” — was the first in a string of high-profile flings for her.
She split from Peter after 18 months, with him saying in 2011: “We are concentrating on our business affairs.”
Within months of breaking up with him, Nadiya had a romance with popular Slovenian singer Jan Plestenjak, who was 16 years her senior. Despite rumours of an engagement, she split with Jan within a year — and started dating Russian dance champion Sergey Konovaltsev.
He and Nadiya married in December 2013 after he proposed during a dance championship that June.
But the marriage collapsed in 2015, with Nadiya declaring that she was wildly in love with Anze Cerin, the 21-year-old son of a cycling champion and business tycoon.
Her relationship with him was made public when she wrote on Facebook: “Since I’ve met you, there’s no one worth thinking about.”
But that romance fizzled out a year before she met current love Matija.
Miha told how a desire to be worshipped by men drove his ex- girlfriend.
He sniped: “She needs a lot of attention, that’s for sure. She pulls attention to herself all the time because she has been taught to do that from a very young age, and she expects that. She had a good example of that at home because her father was very attentive to her mother.
“She had that image in her head and that stays.”
Nadiya and Miha were able to put their personal history behind them to become a hugely successful dance pair.
The partners were declared world champions in 10 Dance — where competitors are judged on ten different styles of ballroom and Latin — in 2014 and 2015.
After the second win, Nadiya decided to celebrate by posing nude for the Slovenian issue of Playboy, then stripped for the magazine for a second time a few months later.
The dancer, who featured on the cover of lads’ mag FHM in 2012, explained at the time that nude modelling was a lot like dancing, saying: “They are very closely connected.
“Both require the art of performance and a suitable appearance.”
Soon after her racy photoshoot, Nadiya decided it was time to settle down, start a family — and stop competing.
Miha, who teaches dance and lives in Slovenian capital Ljubljana with his girlfriend Kristina, reckons motherhood had changed Nadiya. He said: “She became much nicer, much more relaxed and cooled down a little bit.”
But Nadiya’s Strictly partner Davood might beg to differ.
While their performance of the Charleston did not lend itself to being as sexy as some of the other dances the pair have performed on the show, Davood confessed there has been no hiding the “natural chemistry”.
He explained: “We’ve been lucky enough to be given dances and songs that allow us to show that chemistry between us.”
And he has also revealed that since being paired with Nadiya, he is “too tired” to have sex with wife Isobel, who he married seven years ago.
Asked about their love life, he said: “I haven’t got the time or the energy.
“At the moment, your head is full of steps, beats and timings. Your body is aching.
“I’ve been working quite late, getting in early. I sometimes forget to eat, that’s how bad it is. Even my most basic needs are overlooked.”
Asked if he’s on a self-inflicted sex ban, he added: “It’s maybe an IOU. You know, in the back of your mind that, worst-case scenario, it’s until the middle of December, not for ever.”
