Awkward moment three ‘Meghan Markle lookalikes’ go head-to-head in competition on Lorraine but none of them look anything like her

LORRAINE viewers were in hysterics over a Meghan Markle lookalike competition went wrong – because none of the contestants looked anything like Prince Harry’s lover.
Fans flocked to social media to comment on the royal mix-up.
Emma Kaler, Ashley Riding and Ria Gingley will now compete for a contract with a top modelling agency.
Speaking on this morning’s episode of Lorraine, Ria described the competition as “an honour.”
However, audiences weren’t sold on the lookalike contest.
One fan tweeted: “Can I just remind you that Meghan Markle is mixed race?”
Another commented: “Apparently the only thing you need to be a Meghan Markle lookalike is a face.”
A third viewer stated: “What is this? A competition to find the person who looks least like Meghan Markle?”
Meanwhile, Lorraine was thrown into chaos during the first segment of the lookalike competition yesterday.
Within seconds of the segment starting, the screen went black, while the sound could still be heard and a description of the item remained in view.
The picture returned to show the women meeting a Prince Harry lookalike, before it went black once again.
After it happened a few more times, Lorraine interrupted the VT back in the studio and apologised, saying: “I don’t know what was going on there”.
She then promised viewers would be able to see the full clip another time before moving on with the show.
However some viewers were glad the segment was cut short, as they didn’t feel like any of the women looked like the Suits actress, who Prince Harry has been dating since the middle of last year.
One wrote on Twitter: “@ITVLorraine hilariously bad lookalikes for Megan Merkel [sic] and prince harry on Lorraine…none of them look anything like either of them!”
A fellow viewer added: “@ITVLorraine are you kidding? Just cos a girl has long dark hair doesn’t make a lookalike! Those can’t seriously be finalists! #laughable”.
