Lucy Mecklenburgh chills out in Australia with a glass of wine as Ryan Thomas posts identical snap just days before I’m A Celebrity kicks off
LUCY Mecklenburgh has fuelled speculation that she could be entering the I'm A Celebrity jungle after posting pictures of herself in Australia just days before the series begins.
Although the reality star has made no reference to boyfriend Ryan Thomas, he shared an almost identical picture just moments later.
Posing on a sun lounger, Lucy can be seen indulging in a glass of red wine on her penthouse garden.
The 26-year-old captioned the pic: "Friday feeling. #Penthouse #Melbourne"
Ryan then shared a similar picture, also using the caption: "Friday feeling."
While it could be as simple as Lucy flying out to support Ryan as he continues to film for Australian soap Neighbours, fans believe that either one or both of the loved-up couple could be heading to the jungle.
One follower told Lucy: "So you and @RyanThomas84 are in Oz, oh and I'm A Celeb is coming up, go figure!"
Another fan warned: "You two are going to have to mix it up, every picture is the same at the moment just from a different angle. If it carries on I'm just going to unfollow Ryan and stick with you."
Recent reports suggested that rumoured contestant Lauren Goodger was planning to get her own back on Lucy Mecklenburgh if she ended up in the jungle with hunky Ryan.
It comes after Lucy started a fling with Lauren's ex Mark Wright in 2011.
Lucy and Mark got together after Lauren and Mark had broken up – and Lauren was left so furious, she’s never forgotten it.
"She's got no serious plans to steal Ryan, but she would like Lucy to realise how humiliating it felt for her when she was linked to Mark," a source told Closer magazine.
Lauren – who’s single again after splitting from boyfriend Joey Morrison in the summer– plans to go down Down Under and make a play for Lucy’s new beau, Ryan Thomas, who’s also rumoured to be joining the I'm A Celeb line-up later this month.
The source said: "Lauren's never got over Lucy's 'affair', as she called it, with Mark, and has held a grudge ever since.
But a representative for Lauren - who’s single again after splitting from boyfriend Joey Morrison in the summer – has denied the claims.
They told the : "This is absolute rubbish and no truth in any of it!"
The latest series of I'm A Celebrity doesn't start until Sunday 19 November, so fans will have to keep guessing about Lucy's adventures.
Until then, she's been enjoying some fun in the Australian sun and was pictured enjoying a day out at the Races in Melbourne but again, Ryan was nowhere to be seen.
Lucy donned a shoulder-baring red jumpsuit, partnered with an elegant black feathered hat.
