Holly Willoughby grills Strictly’s Gorka Marquez about waking up beside Gemma Atkinson – but he insists the only woman for him is Alexandra Burke

HOLLY Willoughby grilled Gorka Marquez about his relationship with Gemma Atkinson on today’s This Morning.

The TV presenter suggested that the handsome Spanish dancer, 27, may have woken up next to the ex-Emmerdale actress before they were pictured having breakfast together this weekend.

As she quizzed him about their early morning date during his appearance on the show with his dance partner Alexandra, she teased: “What were you doing before breakfast? Did you give her a nudge and say let’s go for breakfast?”

Looking a little embarrassed, Gorka tried to laugh it off, as did Alexandra, before he insisted the only woman in his life was his Strictly partner.

The dancing pro and Gemma were spotted looking cosy as they enjoying breakfast together on Sunday morning.

As Alexandra insisted everything was fine between her and Gorka, Phillip interjected and said: “But you did go for breakfast with Gemma”.

While Holly told him: “She’s hot and you’re single…”

Gorka replied: “It’s just like a friend’s breakfast.”

And even after he and Alex laughed off Holly’s cheeky bedroom question Phillip again asked him: “Are you sure?”

He replied:  “I am very sure The only time I have, I spend it with Alex.

“After practice I don’t want to do anything, just go home, rest for the next day.”

He added:  “She is the only women in my life right now.”

Gorka and Gemma have been linked since the show began and added fuel to the fire when they were seen on what appeared to be a breakfast date.

An onlooker told Metro: "Gemma was dressed down in her sweats and they were like any other couple, looking over their phones at the table."

The source added the pair "didn't care who saw them together".

Gemma recently spoke about the Gorka rumours, saying: "I think he’s absolutely brilliant and we are getting to know each other, but for now the main focus is dancing.”

Asked if anything could happen once the show ends, she coyly replied: "We’ll see."
