STEPHEN Bear has QUIT Just Tattoo Of Us after splitting from Charlotte Crosby.
It comes after The Sun Online revealed MTV bosses were lining up Scotty T to be Charlotte's new co-host in a bid to keep both Bear and Charlotte on the show.
MTV bosses had been hoping to come up with a solution so both Charlotte and Bear could present separate episodes of the show and broached the possibility of bringing in new co-hosts for both of them.
But now The Sun Online can exclusively revealed Bear has decided to quit the show altogether due to conflicting filming schedules.
A source revealed: "Bear has been offered another gig and the dates clashed with Just Tattoo Of Us filming so he has decided to leave.
"MTV tried their best to come up with a solution but it just wasn't possible.
"Once Bear was offered the other job, producers knew it was only a matter of time before he quit the show.
"There's no hard feelings between Stephen and MTV and he's expected to attend the EMAs on Sunday."
Bear and Charlotte have fronted the popular show on the network for two series, with a third already commissioned.
Filming was thrown into jeopardy following their bitter split last month and bosses battled to keep the stars of the show happy but now Bear has decided to leave.
Bosses had suggested bringing in separate co-hosts and broached the idea of Scott T hosting with Charlotte.
A show insider exclusively told The Sun Online: "Charlotte and Bear just can't work together since they broke up. One minute they love each other - the next it's hate.
"MTV are desperate to keep them both involved with the show, they don't want a 'him or her' situation.
";There are discussions taking place now to try and work it all out."
Producers think Charlotte's former Geordie Shore co-star Scotty T would make a great co-host for Charlotte, 27.
The source added: "They think they could split the show between them and and have them present separate episodes.
"Scotty T would be great for Charlotte to work with but it's not clear at the moment who Stephen's co-presenter would be.
"No contracts have been signed yet. It could all change in a couple of days though - both sides are weighing up the options right now."
But now that Bear has decided to quit, could Scotty T be Charlotte's new permanent co-host?
