Pam's so potty

Former EastEnders favourite Pam St Clement smokes a joint on US road trip for new ITV show Gone To Pot

THE cloud of smoke that shrouded PAM ST CLEMENT in EastEnders is making a TV comeback.

A year after her last appearance as , Pam will be seen smoking cannabis on a US roadtrip in ITV’s Gone To Pot.

She tries the spliff, probably more modest than the one I’ve mocked her up with here, at an “alternative” art class, where she also puffs on a bong.

Pam’s joined on the trip by Loose Women’s LINDA ROBSON, panto veteran CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS, darts ace BOBBY GEORGE and former footballer JOHN FASHANU.

She said: “We were taken to this warehouse . . . there were easels, tables and chairs.

“We jumped in with both feet and sat down and started to paint this cactus.

“The guy came round with this joint and I took a puff, and Bobby took a puff then we got on with this painting.

“I thought, ‘Oh well this a terrible painting and I don’t know what to do with it’.

“I made it into an alien in the end. It wasn’t a cactus at all.”

Gone to Pot starts next Monday at 9pm. The wacky-baccy three-parter follows the infamous five making their way across America on a magical mystery bus to discover the highs — and importantly the lows — of marijuana.

Pam tries the drug during the £40 Pass, Puff and Paint class and dabbles again when the group visits a nunnery where sisters farm weed.

The psychedelic painting session descended into chaos when the art teacher switched the humble joint for a stronger hit.

Pam said: “This person came along with a glass bowl thing with a pipe and a stem with an open top, like a mini bong, it was very delicate and she gave it to Linda then to me and she said, ‘Take a puff’.

“So I took a puff and she said, ‘Oh that’s enough, that’s enough’ and I thought, ‘Oh my God, this must be powerful’.

“I passed it on to Bobby and within five to ten minutes me and Bobby were virtually on the floor laughing it was so funny.

“I love it when you get the giggles when you shouldn’t.

“It’s wonderful — just crying we were — so refreshing to do that, it really is.”

It’s Pat Butcher as we’ve never seen her before.

Scarlett said: “I’m so excited. I’ve been messaging Dec just talking about packing and asking if he’s packed. My mam keeps laughing because I’ve been packed for three weeks now. I’m so keen.”

Former hosts CAROLINE FLACK and LAURA WHITMORE have also been helping. Scarlett said:

“Caroline and Laura have been amazing, giving me lots of tips and they have been so supportive.

“They told me to get a lot of sleep now because the ITV2 show is filmed in English time so I need to try and organise my sleeping patterns.

“I think I’ll be running on adrenalin though, excitement has overtaken nerves for me.”

I think they’ll be a brilliant trio.

Amy, above, said: “We should get the old crew back.

BILLIE and SAM FAIERS, MARK WRIGHT, JAMES ‘ARG’ ARGENT and I were the first ones on Towie, and it would be so cool to film us again.

“It was the best time of my life and we were the ones who won the Bafta.”

Amy, who is mum to seven-month-old Polly, has also admitted to a big telly regret.

She said: “I would love to do Strictly.

“They did ask me in 2011 but I chose Big Brother because it was a brand new show for Channel 5 at the time. I was a lot younger then.”

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

IT HAS been three years since MEL SYKES showed off her gym-honed bod on I’m A Celeb and she clearly hasn’t let her workout routine slip.

The TV presenter posed in a bikini yesterday as she enjoyed pampering sessions at a Champneys spa.
Hopefully, she didn’t catch a cold.
