Harry Styles will perform at The X Factor’s live shows next weekend – silencing rumours of a feud with Simon Cowell
HARRY Styles will perform on next week's edition of The X Factor after being secured by his on/off mentor Simon Cowell.
After his numerous on-stage accidents, the One Direction hunk- who went solo this year - will follow in band mate Liam Payne's footsteps by returning to the ITV studios alone.
Harry, 23, will take to the stage on Saturday, November 11, after Cowell aimed to rope in as many top acts for the live shows as he could in a bid to boost ratings.
And bosses have hinted that Harry's visit to the show will see him having a major love-in with his Cowell, who made him a superstar in 2011.
That Saturday episode will also have a George Michael theme, with all the acts performing tracks by the late singer.
Then on Sunday, on the results show, former Voice UK judge Paloma Faith will treat viewers to a sing-song.
The fact Harry has agreed to come on the show may indicate that the tension between him and One Direction's manager has dissipated.
Their relationship has been fraught since Harry ditched Cowell's Syco label and moved to Colombia Records for his solo efforts, but Harry clearly couldn't resist the opportunity of a homecoming.
No doubt the subject of One Direction will come up when he chats on the show, and he may have a different view from Liam - who said he doesn't see a band reunion in the future.
Currently Harry is on a tour of the world and has been playing many sold-out dates in the UK, and one unfortunate on-stage mishap led to Asda blocking the sale of kiwis.
The heartthrob fell over and really hurt himself after kiwis were thrown at the stage during his track called, you guessed it, Kiwi.
It came less than a month after a fan grabbed his crotch during a performance, leading to an outcry from sexual assault charities.
