Prison – it’s all PlayStation playing, TV watching and pool games, isn’t it? Not in Scotland!

We get to experience what life in the clink is really like in this deeply troubling but eye-opening documentary.

Ross Kemp (centre) visits the notorious HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow, a facility that has been the scene of hangings and riots over the years.

From the moment Ross is admitted into the men’s prison, you can feel the oppressive atmosphere seep through your TV screen.

Offenders with facial disfigurements are a common sight, as Ross learns prisoner-on-prisoner attacks are the norm, but perhaps the most disturbing moment is Ross’ interview with a sex offender who’s adamant he’s done nothing wrong.

An enlightening look at life behind bars.

NEW! Harry Styles At The BBC, 8pm, BBC One

Following in the footsteps of Adele and Michael Bublé, Harry (right) gets his own Beeb special – just in time to boost pre-Christmas sales of his album.

As well as performing tracks from his self-titled solo album, the 1D star chats to host – and best pal – Nick Grimshaw (left). But will he do a sketch as good as when Adele impersonated her impersonators?

Fed up of crime dramas invading your telly?

This light-hearted comedy-drama might be just the tonic. Philip Glenister (left) and Lesley Sharp (right) make a likeable combo as a hubby and wife who move their family from the UK to Florida to start a new business.

It’s a classic fish-out-of-water tale and you can’t go wrong for pure escapism.
