Towie’s Mike Hassini backs claims Megan McKenna did cheat on Pete Wicks after she denied it
TOWIE’S Mike Hassini has backed claims Megan McKenna did cheat on Pete Wicks after she denied it last week.
The ripped reality star says he has heard there was a cross over with Pete and her ex Harry Eden, he told the Sun’s Bizarre column.
And he said Megan’s defence of Pete, 28, sexting other girls is a “typical” reaction when she got accused of cheating and that “two wrongs don’t make a right”.
Speaking at the Rise of The Footsoldier 3 premiere, Mike, 22, said: “I only know Pete's side of the story, I haven't spoken to Megan, so I can only go off what I've been told.
“There was a crossover.
“I think she has been seeing her ex or getting back with her ex whilst she was with Pete, I think there's been a little bit of a crossover. Where Pete has found out about it he is really hurt.
“So I personally think she has strong emotions for him and he's got a bit of a hold on her.”
On Wednesday’s episode of The Only Way Is Essex Megan, 25, broke down in tears as spoke of her break up with co-star Pete.
She strongly denied she had cheated on him but admitted to having a good time with child actor Harry.
Country singer Megan went on to try and turn the situation around by mentioning he was sexting ex Jacqui Ryland last year.
But Mike, who is going out with Zoe Hamilton, told the Sun her reaction was typical of someone accused of being a cheat.
SHUUUT UP! You won’t believe how much the Towie girls have changed since the reality show first hit our TV screens
He said: “Obviously he's really upset. So much has gone on.
“With Megan, I think she tries to play it down a little bit I think it was a little bit worse than she makes out I think.
“So don't get me wrong he is getting better but he's still not great.”
“It's always the way - when you're accused of something you always want to pass the buck and throw the ammunition elsewhere. 'Look what he done to me to begin with'. But two wrongs don't make a right.”
